Matters Arising

  1. Abandoned Cars: The caravan in Rigg Quarry has been removed; the batteries outside the house at Rigg have been removed. The truck at Valtos is still there. It is causing serious problems for crofters using the fanks, as traffic cannot see when sheep are being moved. Janet to write to Richard Cairns on behalf of the crofting/township clerk expressing the crofters fears.

  1. Fire Brigade: Still awaiting update from David Gill regarding the temporary structure and permanent structure for Staffin Fire Station. To stay open

  1. Insurance Cover: Still awaiting reply

  1. A855: To stay open until work on the single track completed

  1. Respite Centre: Still not open
