The minutes of the previous meeting were proposed by Sheena and seconded by Janet.
Matters Arising:
£1030-43 in the bank at present. No bills or cheques outstanding.
The community Councils AGM is to be held at the Broadford Hotel on 22/3/05
Stenscholl Common Grazing - an agricultural byre on Maligar Road – no objections
Update: regarding temporary Fire Stn at Staffin, since our meeting on Tuesday we have received documentation from the planning committee that the planning application has been refused. We will try and find out more information for our next meeting.
To invite Tim Scott to our next meeting to explain the new local planning rules and regs.
The museum service is having an open day on Friday 18 th March 10am to 7pm and Saturday 19 th 10am to 6pm

NHS Patient Focus: There is a meeting at Inverness Thistle Hotel on 19 th March- no takers
Scottish Water: Water rates have been increased by 2.8%
Local Channel: www.thelocalchannel.uk has been set up for community councils to inform people
what is going on in the community. It also needs an administrator to update it. It
needs looking into.
Bridge Tolls: A letter has been received about reinstating some sort of bridge tolls. It was suggested
that any profit goes into the South Skye economy. Our feeling is that this should have
been sorted prior to the tolls being removed, and why the economy of South Skye

The Caravan that has appeared in the old quarry at Rigg: Sylvia to ask PC Martin to have a look
Application to Let: Forms to fill in our meetings held in the school. Sylvia taken to complete and return to Norma
Donations: A discussion was held regarding two donations. It was decided that the Hall Association and the School (for new library books) would both receive £200.
