Description Made up of alder trees this small forest surprisingly slopes in a southerly direction towards the prevailing wind. However, it is obvious that the north wind which sweeps in much less often has still had a strong effect on the growth of these trees. The 1906 maps show a burial site on this location. It also gives a much more extensive wood than exists today. |
