Translation the grey stones at Airidh an Easain.
Description Iain Ruadh Mor used to travel by horse and cart to Uig with lobsters. At this location he was often aware that his horse would pause as if it had seen something. He was told the next time that this would happen to go up to the neck of the horse and look straight between the horse's ears in the direction the horse was looking and that he would see what was giving fright to the animal. This he did, and realised that the grey stones cast a strange shape in the fading light which resembled a man.
