Description The location is now given over to Stenscholl Common Grazings and there is little to be seen of this agricultural holding. Although no-one remembers a farm being here there were people living in the community whose forebears had lived here. Uisdean Dhomhnaill Shuarbie lived for a time in Marrishader in a house owned by Sandy beag today. He had two brothers, Dòmhnall Dhomhnaill Shuarbie and Iain Dhomhnaill Shuarbie. Also it is known that bean I'n bhain, Stenscholl, was born at Suarbie. There is nobody of the family left in Staffin today. |
